Connecting Talent with Opportunity

In 2024, Jumpstart continued to bridge the gap between refugee talent and Canadian employers. With growing global displacement and ongoing labour shortages in key sectors, our work connecting skilled refugees with meaningful employment has never been more important.

On 2024, we expanded our Refugee Hiring Event model nationally, launched new pilot initiatives like a dedicated job board and career webinars, and provided personalized support to over 1,500 clients helping 183 secure employment. Strategic partnerships with employers across sectors strengthened pathways to opportunity and recognition of refugee talent.

Our Client Engagement team also introduced monthly ‘Ask Me Anything’ sessions, empowering refugees to navigate their careers with confidence and connect with community supports.

2024 was a year of growth, innovation, and impact and we are proud to share the stories and achievements of the people driving this work forward.
