Adwoa Yirenkyi

Talent Partner

Adwoa is a Talent Partner at Jumpstart Refugee Talent. She supports the Welcome Talent Canada Mentorship program. Adwoa has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia and recently graduated from King’s College London with a master’s of science in Emerging Economies and International Development. Prior to Jumpstart, she had experience working with a few other organisations supporting refugees and asylum seekers in and out of Canada in various capacities. She is passionate about finding effective ways to facilitate economic empowerment and combat the educational inequality that marginalised communities experience. In her free time she enjoys listening to music or trying out new recipes.
