This session features a Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) speaker and is facilitated by Darrell Pinto, Director of Employment, Jumpstart Refugee Talent. After the webinar, attendees will be asked to apply for open roles within the TTC for Seasonal Maintenance 2025, including:

Darrell Pinto, Employment Director | Jumpstart Refugee Talent
Darrell Pinto is Director of Employment at Jumpstart Refugee Talent where he leverages his extensive corporate relationships to create a pathway to meaningful employment for refugees. Darrell is a senior executive who has honed his strategic consulting and people-focused leadership in Toronto, New York, London, and Shanghai at companies spanning private and public financial markets, pharmaceuticals, media and non-profits.
Darrell currently serves on the boards of several non-profits and was a previous co-chair with Senator Ratna Omidvar of the National Refugee Jobs Agenda Roundtable, a working coalition of 150 Canadian organizations collaborating to find meaningful jobs for refugees. He is host of a national talk show on the New Canadians TV platform on issues related to inclusion, immigration, and multiculturalism.

Darlene Murrain, TTC Program Coordinator – Outreach | Toronto Transit Commission (TTC)
Darlene Murrain serves as the Program Coordinator for Outreach within the Talent Management Department at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). With over a decade of experience in Community Outreach and Recruitment across various sectors, she is deeply committed to promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In her role, Murrain actively engages with community-based organizations to forge robust partnerships and enhance job opportunities at the TTC. She plays a pivotal part in connecting with the Toronto community through workforce development sessions and career fairs, collaborating with agencies on innovative initiatives that create a meaningful and lasting impact.
