As the Manager, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Sustainability at Western Financial Group, I have had the pleasure of leading the partnership between Western and Jumpstart Refugee Talent, and by extension, the Refugees Jobs Agenda Roundtable, supported by the World Education Services (WES), joining our efforts to support refugees across Canada.
Jumpstart’s commitment to providing refugee families with the resources and tools necessary to begin their new lives in Canada is truly admirable. The program’s comprehensive approach to support — from education, entrepreneurship, and mentorship to educational certificate recognition through WES — is incredibly impactful and has made a real difference in the lives of many refugees in our communities.
The team at Jumpstart Refugee Talent has been a pleasure to work with — their dedication and passion for their mission are evident in everything they do.
