About the Role
Jumpstart is looking for a highly organized and motivated Talent Associate to support the delivery of our Refugee Hiring Events and partner training workshops. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about equitable employment, enjoys collaborative work, and thrives in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.

The Talent Associate will provide administrative, logistical, and coordination support, and will play a key role in maintaining partner relationships, supporting data entry and resource sharing, and ensuring smooth execution of workshops and events.

You’ll be pioneering a model that will catalyze local communities across Canada – service provider organizations, employers and municipalities. You can see details about how this model is different from traditional job/career fairs here.

Scope of responsibilities will include:

  • Program and Event coordination
  • Stakeholder Communications and Support
  • Administrative Support
  • Data Management and Reporting
  • Presentation and Document Design

You will be reporting to Jumpstart’s Sr. Recruitment Partner who works out of Toronto.

What You Bring:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with digital collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Cloud Storage, ATS)
  • Comfortable working with cloud storage and basic CRM/ATS systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with diverse communities and a commitment to equity

Nice to Have

  • Lived experience as a forcibly displaced person
  • Experience working with vulnerable communities
  • Previous experience in event coordination, data management and instructional design is an asset
