About Jumpstart Refugee Talent
Are you frustrated with what’s happening in the world? Do you feel excluded and powerless to drive a real change? We are! But we are doing something about it. Do you want to join?

Jumpstart Refugee Talent is looking for our first Director of Strategic Partnerships. This is a lifestyle career opportunity not a job. Become part of a global team who strive every day to economically empower refugees.

Jumpstart Refugee Talent is a global refugee-led charitable organization with offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Bogota, and Beirut. We are dedicated to unlocking the potential of refugee talent by fostering economic inclusion through employment, entrepreneurship, and labor mobility pathways. Since 2016, we have empowered hundreds of refugees to contribute meaningfully to their communities while building thriving, resilient careers.

With a growing presence across Canada and globally, we aim to lead a movement that reshapes how refugee talent is recognized, supported, and integrated into societies in Canada and abroad.

About the Role
Are you inspired by the chance to forge meaningful partnerships and create transformative global impact? Jumpstart Refugee Talent is searching for a caring, bold and visionary Director of Strategic Partnerships to take the lead in building dynamic alliances with governments, foundations, and institutional stakeholders. This is more than a role—it’s a unique opportunity to shape the future of an organization that is redefining what is possible for refugee-led initiatives on the global stage.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving Jumpstart’s fundraising and partnership strategies as we scale our groundbreaking initiatives. As part of our leadership team, you will not only mobilize resources and expand our international reach but also champion the inclusion of refugee talent in diverse economies worldwide.

At Jumpstart, we’ve traveled an extraordinary path—from humble beginnings as a volunteer-led organization to becoming a national leader with operations now extending to Lebanon and Bogotá. Our ambitions are even bigger now. We are on the cusp of something transformative: growing from a local initiative to becoming one of the few refugee-led organizations with a truly global impact. This journey is about more than scaling operations; it’s about proving that refugee-led organizations can grow, thrive, and set a powerful example.

We’re looking for a visionary who not only believes in this mission but is ready to join a team driven by collaboration, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to refugee empowerment. At Jumpstart, teamwork has been the foundation of every success we’ve achieved, and we want someone who sees this as a groundbreaking opportunity to be part of a success story still being written.
If you’re ready to help lead this transformative journey, we want to hear from you.
