Nicholas is the Program Coordinator, Client Relations for Jumpstart where he supports refugee clients with their resumes to ensure they are employer-friendly. He also supports Jumpstart’s intake team with the Afghan resettlement initiative and is responsible for writing program funding proposals to ensure Jumpstart’s ability to serve our clients continues to grow. Since beginning to work at Jumpstart at the end of 2020, he has managed an ever-expanding resume support team which has served over 525 refugee clients thus far. He has been politically active from the age of 15 onwards, and has volunteered or worked on every provincial and federal election in Ontario since 2014. Nicholas earned his bachelor's in International Relations & Political Science from Trinity College at the University of Toronto, Canada, and is currently awaiting adjudication of his Master’s dissertation for the completion of his MSc. degree in the Theory & History of International Relations from the London School of Economics & Political Science, UK. Nicholas speaks English and Portuguese, and possesses an intermediate proficiency in French. In his free time, you can find him watching soccer, reading, or binging a TV series.
