KHAN HASSAN
Program Coordinator
Hassan is doing his Co-op as Program Co-ordinator at Jumpstart Refugee Talent. He supports Welcome Talent Canada Mentorship Program among other initiatives. Before that, Hassan volunteered as Training Facilitator for the Youth Leadership Training Program at Wave Foundation and British Council Bangladesh. While working, he organized and facilitated a total of 20 Youth Leadership Training Programs and trained over 500 Bangladeshi youths to plan and initiate Social Action Project that addressees existing various social problems of Bangladesh. He also facilitated “Climate Action” workshops for British Council, Bangladesh to create awareness among the youths. Hassan was actively involved with Bangladeshi NGOs movement for “Right to Food Law” and hosted signature campaign at his university. Hassan earned his bachelor’s in international Relations from Bangladesh University of Professionals. He is currently doing his Master of Public Policy Administration: concentrating in social change leadership at Adler University. Hassan is bilingual, speaks Bengali, English & Hindi. In his spare time, he likes to hang out with his friends and explore beautiful sites of British Columbia.
