AIDA BAHHUR

Human Resources Partner

Aida is a Human Resources Partner for Jumpstart Refugee Talent. Aida recently graduated from Athabasca University with a Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations, which considers employment relations within social, economic, legal, and political contexts. She believes people are organizations’ greatest resource and is passionate about diversity, inclusion, and equality. Aida consistently volunteers her time with the Calgary Immigrant Support Society in support of a wide range of community projects geared towards helping newcomers, especially refugees and underprivileged people. She also volunteers with youth and elderly populations. Born to immigrant parents, Aida is proudly Palestinian and bilingual (English/Arabic). She enjoys writing, music, and spending time with her family.
